MCN Live Ride-Out - October 2008

Motorcycle NewsMCN are holding their MCN Live event at Butlins in Skegness, Lincolnshire 3rd - 6th October 2008.  In a feature-packed weekend, the MCN Ride Out on Saturday 4th October 2008 will come through Willingham Woods between 12pm and 2pm.  The MCN Ride-Outs are always extremely well-attended so arrive early if you want a good view!

Also headlining at MCN Live is 12-times World Champion, Dougie Lampkin, who will be using the whole of the Butlins complex as a trials arena.  Should be quite something to see.

Ryan Holmes Memorial Charity Ride Out 2008

Ryan HolmesThe Ryan Holmes Memorial Charity Ride out will once again be stopping at Willingham Woods this year.  The Ride Out takes place on Saturday, 30th August 2008 and starts at 10am from Creswell Social Centre.  This year's route will take participants from Creswell through Budby, Newark-on-Trent, Lincoln, Market Rasen, Gainsborough, Retford and Worksop. 

Entry fee per Bike is £5.00.  Camping is available from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st August and there is an evening event on the 30th August.  More information can be obtained from http://www.ryan-holmes-charity.co.uk, from Ash on 07818 433099 or from Gordon on 07961 959534. 

The Ride Out will stop at Willingham Woods at approximately 12.45pm.

 
St. Andrew's Children's Hospice Annual Ride-Out

The Louth Friends of St. Andrew's Children's Hospice are holding their Annual Motorbike Run on Sunday 7th September 2008, departing from Willingham Woods at 12.00pm.  This year's route wiil take participants 68 miles through Lincolnshire's countryside from Willingham Woods to Louth via Skegness.  Additional calling points will be The George & Dragon, Hagworthingham (1.10pm), The Highwayman, Queen's Road, Skegness (2.00pm) and the final point will be The Royal Oak (The Splash) at Cawthorpe (2.30pm) where there will be an auction for two VIP Tickets to the BSB Event at Silverstone on 27th & 28th September.  There is an entry fee of £4.00, payable on the day.
